Children
We regret that, at present, we do not have a separate Sunday School. However, children are an integral part of the service and the wider church community. We actively engage with them with a story before the sermon and often invite them to respond in crafts or activities during the sermon. Children also play an important role in leading our All Age Communion service.
We would love to establish a Sunday School but are in need of volunteers to make this possible. If you are able to help us restart this important ministry, please do get in touch with revcathrine@outlook.com
Seek and Wonder
Seek and Wonder is our church group for children and families. The session starts at 3:30pm and lasts just over an hour. We meet on the second Saturday of each month during term time at St Barnabas Parish Centre in Boughton to explore stories from our Christian faith.
Each session begins with a welcoming activity and some music, followed by a story and craft activities. We provide a variety of art materials for children (and those who accompany them!) to engage with, including paints, collage materials, and modelling supplies, all in response to the theme of the session. We end with a short time of prayer and light refreshments. We look forward to seeing you.
Youth
At the moment, we don’t have a specific programme for youth, but stay tuned for updates on upcoming meetings and activities.
